It does not swell and has good adhesion to most metal and non-metal materials.

  How to use:
  The main purpose of the selection of thermal conductive silicone sheet is to reduce the contact thermal resistance between the surface of the heat source and the contact surface of the heat dissipation device. The thermal conductive silicone sheet can fill the gap of the contact surface well and squeeze the air out of the contact surface. The air is a bad conductor of heat, which will seriously hinder the transfer of heat between the contact surface; With the supplement of thermal conductive silicone sheet, the contact surface can be better and fully contacted, truly face-to-face contact, and the reaction in temperature can be as small as possible.
  The thermal conductivity effect of thermal silica gel is relative, although its thermal conductivity is better in flexible substances, generally in the range of 0.6-1.5W/(m·K), a few properties may be higher, but not more than 2W/(m·K). Compared with water 0.5, vulcanized rubber 0.22, Vaseline 0.184 and so on higher. But 1.5W/(m·K) of cement is no advantage. The thermal conductivity of almost all metals is much higher than that of thermal silica gel. The thermal conductivity of gold, silver and copper in the metal is between 330 and 360, and the thermal conductivity of aluminum is about 200. Thermal conductive silicone itself is not a good conductor of heat, and the role of thermal conductive silicone is to fill the gap between the heat source and the radiator. So the use of thermal silicon is the thinner the better, can apply 0.1-0.5 mm thick thermal silicone to fill the gap, the effect is much better than 1 mm thick silicone sheet.
